Victory Sports Global Outreach, a Clarence, N.Y.-based 501(c)3 nonprofit, will visit youth programs and food banks in late November to give away several items of sports and play equipment to 1,000 children, with the backing of Akron, N.Y.-based Perry’s Ice Cream and the Buffalo Sabres Foundation.
The cooperative launches program to help community food banks secure much-needed refrigeration and keep them stocked with milk.

With the need for food assistance on the rise due to the global pandemic, Chobani announced that it is donating all profits from a new limited-edition charity flavor to Feeding America, a nationwide network of food banks that provides food to people in need.
The partners, including cheesemaker Pineland Farms Dairy and dairy cooperative DFA, will distribute thousands of pounds of cheese to food pantries, shelters and more.

Good Shepherd Food Bank, Pineland Farms Dairy Company Inc., Libra Foundation and Dairy Farmers of America (DFA) will distribute thousands of pounds of cheese to food-insecure Mainers through Maine’s emergency food distribution network, Bangor, Maine-based Pineland Farms Dairy said.
Contributions across the organization’s 10-state region will help meet the dairy demand food banks and pantries are facing during the COVID-19 pandemic.
