With insights from 874 Registered Dietitian Nutritionists (RDNs), the survey reveals Gut health remains a key focus for consumers, with fermented foods like yogurt, kimchi and kombucha ranking as the top superfoods for 2025.
In the dairy industry, inclusions commonly add color, taste, and texture to premium ice cream — think chunks of cookie dough, swirls of caramel, and slivers of nuts and cherries — and yogurt with its now popular “sidecar” packaging.
Within the dairy products arena, fruit, nuts and other inclusions are much like the prize in a Cracker Jack box. They add a little fun and excitement, transforming an ordinary offering to an extraordinary one.
