PHILADELPHIA, PA– Join David Michael & Co. on Wednesday, May 8, 2013 at the Hyatt Regency Philadelphia at Penn’s Landing as we celebrate our tenth anniversary Innovation Roadshow®! What started as an idea to share our innovations with the world, has blossomed into an international, industry-recognized, must-see event. At David Michael, we live and breathe innovation each and every day. When you attend this year’s event, you’ll see first hand that “Innovation Starts Here™” at David Michael & Co.

    Wednesday, May 8, 2013
Hyatt Regency Philadelphia at Penn’s Landing

Headlining this year’s show is Hala Moddelmog, President of Arby’s Restaurant Group, Inc., who will discuss how to identify your target consumer and develop an innovative product strategy that will delight that customer. Hala will also discuss the process Arby’s® uses to adapt an innovative product to fit within its current menu offering. Additionally, her talk will cover the steps taken to identify when a trend is aligned with for your brand and how to grow your customer base and expand your product offering to reinforce brand loyalty.

    The Innovation Roadshow
Each year, the Innovation Roadshow highlights our best ideas in technical creativity, new flavor development and cost-saving technology, in addition to thought provoking and timely discussions from some of the brightest minds in the food and beverage industry. We’ll show you new and emerging trends taking place around the world, provide creative and inspirational ideas and demonstrate cost-saving products.

    The Innovation Showcase
Innovation starts here, and with more than 70 food scientists, flavor chemists, color engineers, chefs and technicians worldwide, we’ve got a lot of great ideas to share with you. The Innovation Roadshow gives our talented staff the opportunity to explore new concepts, conduct research or work outside of their area of expertise. By doing so, they have the opportunity to take a 360 degree approach to identifying and truly developing an innovative concept of their own.

    Technical Sessions
During the Innovation Showcase, be sure to schedule time for one of our Technical Sessions. Each session, presented by a member of David Michael’s technical group, focuses on technologies that can impact the way we formulate products in today’s marketplace.

    Roadmap to the Roadshow
David Michael's Trendspotter, Victoria Vaynberger, will offer you a behind-the scenes look at the Innovation Showcase and the trends influencing this year's product innovations.  Celebrating ten years of innovation, she'll look at how yesterday's Roadshow ideas became today's hottest new products and provide insight on how you can do the same with the innovations you'll experience in the Innovation Showcase.

Attendees are encouraged to join us for dinner on Tuesday, May 7th at Amada. The Innovation Roadshow Dinner has evolved into an experience of its own, combining timely food trends with a relaxed and casual setting perfect for seeing old friends and meeting new ones.
