Founded in 1949 and based in Eden Prairie, Minn., Milk Specialties is an ingredient manufacturer focused on the processing of raw dairy inputs, such as milk and liquid whey, into value-added functional ingredients for a variety of growing nutrition end markets. 

Campaign will be "ReIntroducing" consumers to the things they love, and some new things they might have missed in the dairy and frozen sections.

Brands will exceed consumers’ increased product expectations by experimenting with impactful innovations that engage multiple senses and create memorable experiences.

Kerry Henning of Henning Cheese and Myron Olson of Chalet Cheese Cooperative named Life Award winners.

The new facility is expected to add significant scale, efficiencies, and non-GMO capability to the company’s existing US-based conventional SPC and TSPC operation in Bellevue, Ohio.

As part of this project, Kerry is also sharing expertise on dairy farming and processing with Burundian farmers, supporting them to improve their milk quality and quantity, and thus improve food security.

The science behind understanding what a "healthy" human microbiome looks like, how it is controlled or how it can be changed is an evolving area of research. Recipients of the Danone North America Fellowship Grant support these efforts by exploring how the gut microbiome, yogurt and probiotics help sustain human health and wellness through growth, development, and longevity.

Knutson will be responsible for brand marketing, awareness and growth for the company, while Olson will lead strategic network manufacturing, capacity planning, logistics network optimization and supply chain planning.

She was instrumental in securing Norseland Inc. as a “Preferred Importer” in America.  

Organizations interviewed for the report include ABB, Alfa Laval, DHL Group, the IEA, Microsoft and ETH Zürich, the Swiss federal institute of technology.
