 Relco Europe said it signed a contract with New Zealand-based Fonterra to manufacture L-Tech lactose plant, evaporators and consumption equipment for Fonterra’s new dairy ingredients plant in Heerenveen, The Netherlands

Suppliers to the dairy processing industry announced new hires and promotions. Among them: The board of directors of Newman Sanitary Gasket Co., Lebanon, Ohio, named Thomas Moore president of the company and of Newman Diaphragm LLC. He has served as sales manager, vice president of sales, and president of the Dairy Equipment Division.

Suppliers announce personnel moves, including Chuck Yarris joining Quality Chekd Dairies as director of quality and food safety. He replaces Dan Stockwell, who retired after 22 years of service.
