Which plant will be Dairy Foods’ 2018 Dairy Plant of the Year? Will it be a small fluid milk processing facility in Phoenix or a large cheesemaker in Wisconsin? Those are just two of the 13 dairy plants that are in the running for Dairy Foods’ Plant of the Year.

Our farmers and employees appreciate the honor of being named the 2017 Dairy Foods Plant of the Year. This vote of confidence by one of our industry’s most trusted information sources reflects our entire industry’s commitment to making high-quality U.S. dairy products.

The 2017 Dairy Foods Plant of the Year is a Cabot Creamery plant in Vermont, owned by the dairy cooperative Agri-Mark. 

Voting has begun to select the Dairy Foods 2017 Dairy Plant of the Year.  The 14 U.S. dairy processing companies manufacture fluid milk, cheese, ice cream or cultured dairy products.

It was one of 12 food processing facilities nominated for the award. Dairy Foods invited the dairy industry to vote and help select the recipient. During a five-week period ending July 6, more than 3,500 votes were cast.

Dairy Foods asks the dairy industry to help it select the 2016 Plant of the Year. We have nominated 12 dairy processing plants that manufacture fluid milk, ice cream, yogurt, cheese and other dairy and nondairy products.
