Dairy processors and dairy producers were honored with U.S. Dairy Sustainability Awards at a ceremony in Washington, D.C. 

The Innovation Center for U.S. Dairy is accepting nominations for the 2015 U.S. Dairy Sustainability Awards. The awards recognize outstanding dairy farms, businesses and partnerships for socially responsible, economically viable and environmentally sound practices. 

Dairy plants in the United States are limited in how they can use reclaimed water. But in Singapore, what comes out of the water tap is treated sewage that is safe to drink. There’s a lesson there for us.
