    Time is running out to submit Breakthrough Award submissions

    Award honors achievements by dairy processing members of the American Dairy Products Institute.

    Entrants MUST be members of the American Dairy Products Institute to enter. Achievements must have taken place between (between Feb. 1, 2022 and Feb. 1, 2023). The award winner will be featured in the May issue of Dairy Foods. The deadline to submit in March 10.

    The American Dairy Products Institute was established under its current name on April 17, 1986, through a merger of the American Dry Milk Institute, founded in 1925, and the Whey Protein Institute, founded in 1971.

    ADPI renames Award of Merit

    Award now called the C. Earl Gray Award of Merit in honor of Chester Earl Gray, a pioneering founder of one of ADPI’s legacy organizations.

    In June 1925, C. Earl Gray, at the time with the Golden State Company Ltd., led the formation and development of the American Dry Milk Institute. At the first meeting of its members, he was elected Chairman and was reconfirmed each year until his death in 1944.
