Symrise Diana Food (Diana Food), part of Symrise AG, Holzminden, Germany, said it entered into an agreement with Smag Smart Agriculture for the development of a customized mobile software app that will digitize the global agronomic activities of Diana Food.

However, the health and safety concerns that defined the tumultuous past year-plus cemented consumer interest not only in the source of the foods they eat, but also in the ingredients that make up such items.
Many dairy and nondairy proteins have undergone makeovers that improve some flavor, formulation and textural issues, as well as meet consumers’ nutritional demands.
The companies will supply hemp cannabinoids to the food and beverage industries, among others.

Fargo, N.D.-based Healthy Food Ingredients (HFI) said it formed a strategic supply partnership with Lakewood, Colo.-based KND Labs, a producer of high-quality domestic hemp-derived cannabinoids such as cannabidiol (CBD), cannabigerol (CBG) and cannabinol (CBN).
