Dippin' Dots launched a limited-time Galaxy Pop mystery flavor and exclusive movie-themed collectibles nationwide, giving fans new ways to celebrate Mario Day on March 10 (MAR10 Day) and the upcoming theatrical release of Nintendo and Illumination’s The Super Mario Galaxy Movie on April 1, 2026.  

Now available nationwide, the Galaxy Pop mystery flavor adds a colorful surprise twist to the brand’s signature beaded ice cream, bringing an out-of-this-world treat to fans just in time for MAR10 Day and the film’s release. 

“We wanted this to feel playful and a little unexpected,” said Kimmra Hingher, vice president of Marketing at Dippin’ Dots and ICEE. “The mystery behind Galaxy Pop, along with the collectibles, gives fans something new to discover, whether they're stopping by a Dippin’ Dots location for Mario Day or heading to theaters for new The Super Mario Galaxy Movie.”

The new flavor can be found at malls and movie theaters, as well as other select entertainment destinations.

Additionally, on MAR10 Day, more than 120 participating Dippin’ Dots franchise stores and shopping-center locations will give away free souvenir collectible cups and limited-edition spoons in three themed designs from The Super Mario Galaxy Movie. Giveaways are available while supplies last and fans should check with their local Dippin’ Dots for participation and availability.
