Membrane Technology and Research names CEO
Brett Andrews now leads Membrane Technology and Research after driving progress of MTR Carbon Capture since joining the company in February 2023.

Membrane Technology and Research is announcing that Brett Andrews has been appointed as the chief executive officer of MTR. Andrews also remains the president of MTR Carbon Capture, with Hans Wijmans serving as the president of MTR Industrial Separations.
“Brett Andrews has done an exceptional job at driving the progress of MTR Carbon Capture since joining us in February 2023, and we are delighted that he is taking on this additional role as chief executive officer of all of MTR,” said Colin Bailey, chairman of the Board of MTR.
Andrews has been in the membrane technology business for over 35 years. He is the former president and CEO of Hydranautics and vice president at Nitto Denko, where he managed the Nitto global membrane division.
Andrews holds degrees in chemistry and polymer technology from North London university and Slough College in the United Kingdom.
