Chobani buys Daily Harvest

Chobani is about to enter the frozen food section of the supermarket.
The New York City-based company announced it will purchase Daily Harvest, which produces ready-to-make smoothies, snacks and entrees.
"Real food. Real purpose. Real people. Welcoming Daily Harvest to the Chobani family. When you bring together bold ideas, good people, and a belief in better—you create something powerful. We both believe food can change lives. Now we get to do it together," Chobani CEO Hamdi Ulukaya wrote on social media platform LinkedIn.
Added Chobani in a separate post: "Today we welcome Daily Harvest to the Chobani family! Our purpose-led brands are united by a shared vision: to make high-quality, delicious food with real ingredients more accessible. Already a disruptor in the yogurt, creamer, and ready-to-drink coffee categories, this combination marks our entry into wholesome, ready-to-make meals and is the next step in our journey to make good food for all."
The purchase price was not disclosed.
