Silk, a Broomfield, Colo.-based brand of Danone North America, introduced a docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) omega-3 plant-based beverage. The beverage features a blend of “oatmilk,” “almondmilk” and pea protein. According to the company, the Silk DHA omega-3 beverage delivers 50% more calcium than traditional dairy milk, 6 grams of pea protein per serving and 32 milligrams of DHA omega-3 to help support brain health. It is available at retailers nationwide in Original and Unsweetened Vanilla flavors; it has a suggested retail price of $3.99 per half-gallon carton.
