Fairlife launches Fairlife Smart Snacks
The snack-sized ready-to-drink beverages are made with ultrafiltered milk, honey and oats.
Fairlife LLC, Chicago, said it launched Fairlife Smart Snacks, a collection of snack-sized beverages designed to help curb hunger between meals. Made with Fairlife ultrafiltered milk — dairy milk that has been cold-filtered to remove the lactose while delivering 50% more protein and 50% less sugar than regular milk — the products feature a touch of honey for sweetness and oats for a rich, creamy texture. They are available in rich chocolate, French vanilla and creamy strawberry flavors. The rich chocolate flavor has 170 calories, 5 grams of fat, 11 grams of sugar and 15 grams of protein per 8-ounce single-serve bottle. Each variety also delivers 40% of the recommended daily value of calcium and contains no artificial preservatives, no artificial flavors and no colors from artificial sources. The products are available in select Walmart stores, in select other stores (limited distribution) nationwide and in multipacks on Amazon.com. The suggested retail price is $2.29 per bottle and $24.99 for a multipack of 12.
