Huntington Beach, Calif.-based Revelé makes a low-cal, low-sugar whipped gelato in six flavors: strawberry, cake batter, white chocolate raspberry, coffee toffee crunch, vanilla and Belgian chocolate.
Sold in pints, the gelato is lactose-free and gluten-free, and made without artificial flavors, colors or sweeteners. It's made with real cane sugar. A 1/2-cup serving of the chocolate contains 90 calories, 4 grams of fat, 5 grams of sugar and 1 gram of protein.
The process of whipping air into the gelato makes it naturally lighter, according to the company. It retails for $5.99 per pint. The gelato is available at select Southern California retailers, including Bristol Farms and Jensen’s.
