Turkey Hill Dairy vet John Cox named presidentTurkey Hill Dairy, Conestoga, Pa., said today that John Cox has been named president. He was executive vice president for the past 14 years and had been serving as the interim president since August 2013. Former president Quintin Frey retired earlier this year after 33 years of service.

Cox joined Turkey Hill Dairy (a unit of grocery giant Kroger) 28 years ago as a marketing manager. Since then he has held a number of leadership roles, including secretary and treasurer for Turkey Hill Dairy, and president of Jackson Ice Cream in Hutchinson, Kan.

Cox led the development and opening of the Turkey Hill Experience (a hands-on museum of sorts) in Columbia, Pa.

A graduate of Millersville University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration, Cox earned his master’s degree in organizational development and change management from the Pennsylvania State University. Turkey Hill Dairy produces a premium ice cream brand and one of the leading refrigerated iced tea brands in the nation.
