The Dannon Co., White Plains, N.Y., plans to create up to 100 new jobs over the next three years thanks to an $88 million investment in its Minster, Ohio, facility, which is said to be the largest yogurt manufacturing site in North America.

Since the 400,000-square-foot production plant began making yogurt in 1968, Dannon has remained committed throughout the value chain, from dairy farming to production to distribution, to bringing jobs and growth to Ohio.

The incentives and grants, which will be phased in over a three-year period, include tax credits for job creation, funding for training and reimbursement for investments in equipment.

The Minster plant currently employs approximately 400 people, who make Activia, Activia Light, Danimals, Danonino, Oikos, Light and Fit and Dannon branded products.
