Icon is the newest addition to Fortress Technology’s Phantom line of metal detectors. The touchscreen panel has been designed from the ground-up to be backwards compatible with all Phantom metal detectors. Using robust Quad-Core processing, the Icon is said to deliver fast and accurate detection of metal contaminants. Information gathered (such as product configurations, rejects and faults) will be stored in an onboard database and will be accessible via USB or Wired Ethernet. All collected data can be exported as Microsoft Excel or Adobe Acrobat PDF file formats. The Icon features an intuitive graphical experience with custom designed icons and comprehensive menus that will allow users of all skill levels to easily setup products, perform tests and produce reports.
