    Custom Flavor Bases for Frozen Desserts

    California Custom Fruits and Flavors says it is always thinking of ways to excite the senses as it relates to frozen desserts. The company’s consumer-preferred ice cream concepts and ingredients define flavor and taste in branded products nationwide.

    “We partner with our customers to develop custom flavor bases and variegates where texture, flavor and appearance drive the eating experience. Devising innovation using new ingredient or processing methodologies is enhanced by our diverse capabilities in flavor and application development,” an executive states.

    For example, CCFF is developing texture-enhanced variegates that become unique in the way in which they are introduced into the ice cream during processing.

    Core to its capabilities is the company’s dedication to health and wellness trends like fruit incorporation, natural sweetener use, clean labeling and nutrition enhancement.

    Known as fruit sourcing and manufacturing experts, CCFF offers premiere capabilities to its customers. The firm delivers frozen dessert ingredients of all types, flavors and price-points backed by solid supply and food safety programs.

    The company, which has expanded into an 85,000 square-foot state-of-the-art manufacturing facility featuring flavor and product development laboratories, also develops custom products for beverages, cultured dairy products, bakery products, confectionery products and foodservice items.
