The RheoScope module simultaneously records rheological properties and changes in the microscopic structure of the tested sample. By combining rheological measurements with optical analysis, microstructures can be analyzed visually to obtain more information about a sample’s mechanical properties. Combined methods are ideally suited for the analysis of shear thinning, dilatancy, thixotropy, aging and emulsification. Data, video sequences and images can be viewed on-line as well as stored in various formats for later evaluation and analysis.
