Gelcarin carrageenan products
March 1, 2005
Is it a dessert gel, isotonic beverage or a gel drink designed for the adult palate? FMC BioPolymer offers a line of Gelcarin® carrageenan products that formulators can use to produce gel structures ranging from a soft pourable gel consistency to a pulpy applesauce-like gel texture to a thick spoonable gelled dessert. Gelcarin carrageenan forms a temperature-stable gel structure that provides room temperature storage stability. These gels can then be refrigerated before serving.
