As a result, Lipid Nutrition reinforces its position as a dominant player in the CLA market. PharmaNutrients has elected to divest of its CLA One® product line to focus on its business of proprietary nutritional formulations targeting inflammation, diabetes and cardiovascular health.

Chr. Hansen is nearing completion of a $7.4 million upgrade to its culture plant in Milwaukee. The largest single expansion ever in the plant's history, it will increase fermentation capacity by 35% and complete a five-year investment plan of more than $25 million.
Cargill says the first North American maltitol plant is now in full operation at the company's corn milling biorefinery campus in Blair, Neb. The new facility, in addition to Cargill's maltitol plant in Europe, provides food manufacturers with global access to new, innovative sweetness solutions.
