IDFA President and CEO Michael Dykes points out 2025 was great for the dairy industry with many potential areas for future growth. 

The International Dairy Foods Association (IDFA) recognized the extraordinary leadership of David Ahlem, board advisor and former CEO and president of Hilmar, and Mike McCloskey, co-founder & CEO emeritus of Select Milk Producers, chairman & CEO of Fair Oaks Farms, and founder of fairlife, with the IDFA Laureate Award during the Dairy Forum.

Dairy Forum 2025 will take place January 26-29, 2025, at the JW Marriott San Antonio Hill Country Resort & Spa.

With the exception of unexpected rainy and dreary weather in Arizona throughout, the International Dairy Foods Association’s (IDFA) Dairy Forum at the JW Marriott in Phoenix was an incredible event.

Dairy Foods initially presented the award at DFA headquarters in Kansas City, Kan.

IDFA Foundation teamed with retailers and processors to donate more than 33,000 pounds of nutritious milk and dairy foods as well as $15,000 in financial contributions.
