The Boards of Dairy West and Dairy Farmers of Washington have announced their decision to move forward in partnership.
This development marks a shared commitment to greater efficiency, streamlined operations and enhanced value for dairy producers across both states. This partnership will amplify strengths, increase impact and unlock new opportunities for growth and innovation.
“This decision reflects the long-term vision both organizations share for a stronger, more unified dairy landscape,” said Chace Fullmer, chairman of the Dairy West Board of Directors. “By working together, we can maximize the effectiveness of every checkoff dollar and ensure producers are at the center of all we do.”
The boards emphasized that the process will be grounded in collaboration and respect for both the legacy and future of dairy across the Intermountain West. As part of this evolution, the Dairy West Board of Directors also announced the appointment of Steve Seppi as the organization’s new CEO. Seppi brings a strong record in dairy promotion, with decades of experience in Checkoff work and a commitment to driving measurable results. Most recently, he served as executive director of Dairy Farmers of Washington, where he led a successful transformation focused on transparency, innovation and producer priorities.
“The Northwest is positioned to lead, with the people, innovation and vision to make it happen,” said Seppi. “I’m excited to build on that momentum and help shape a future for dairy defined by smart investments, strong partnerships and shared success.
