Wyke Farms carbon-neutral Aged English Cheddar expands availability in U.S.
Ivy's Reserve aged up to 18 months under wood to produce complex flavor.

Wyke Farms has expanded U.S. availability of Ivy’s Reserve Vintage Cheddar, which it says is the “world’s first carbon-neutral Aged English Cheddar.”
Founded in 1861 in Somerset, England, Wyke Farms notes that its Ivy’s Reserve Vintage Cheddar, which is aged up to 18 months under wood to produce a creamy, complex flavor and nutty, rounded finish, produces 18,000 tons of cheese annually using milk from its own grass-grazing herds.
The reserve cheddar cheese will be available in April in more than 200 Vons and 120 Raley stores in California for a suggested retail price of $9.99-$10.99 for a 7-ounce brick. It’s currently available in Shaw’s Supermarkets, Star Market, Safeway and Fresh Thyme Market stores nationwide for around $8.99.
