Neenah, Wis.-based Horseshoe Beverage Co. — known for its Black Stag brand of premium craft coffee beverages — said it is introducing a new ready-to-drink (RTD) coffee line to consumers. New Black Stag lattes with 40% less sugar will hit the shelves nationwide mid-October, delivering a coffee-forward taste in four flavors.
Made with premium 100% Arabica coffee and quality ingredients, the Black Stag lattes come in Mocha, Vanilla, Caramel and Original flavors.
Horseshoe said that until now, consumers haven’t found the permissible indulgence they crave in today’s RTD coffee market. When presented with Black Stag’s lower-sugar latte option, more than 70% of those surveyed said they intended to purchase the product and thought the product was unique and different.
“Consumers told us they want a lower sugar latte without sacrificing great taste,” said Pete Sawin, vice president of marketing and general manager of Horseshoe Beverage Co. “We are proud to provide these delicious craft-quality coffee beverages, made in the heart of America’s dairyland, to customers throughout the country.”
Consumers will find Black Stag lattes at grocery stores, drug stores, mass merchandisers, convenience stores and club stores. The 13.7-ounce beverages are packaged in 100% recyclable glass bottles and available in single-serve and 12-pack options, Horseshoe said.
