Trugman-Nash LLC, Chatham, N.J., added Grand Reserve 24-month aged Australian vintage cheddar to its Old Croc brand of cheddar cheeses. According to the company, the cheese is crafted with milk from grass-fed cows and non-GMO ingredients. Old Croc’s Grand Reserve is carefully aged two full years for an extra sharp, rich flavor. The cheese’s texture is creamy, yet crumbly with noticeably crunchy crystals.

“This is a truly special cheese, and one I take extra pride in,” said Ken Meyers, president and CEO of Trugman-Nash. “I personally grade every lot of this cheese and select only the finest grade to bear the Grand Reserve name.”

Trugman-Nash said Old Croc is the fastest-growing imported cheddar in the United States. The brand includes classic and flavored cheddar chunks, snacks, slices and spreads.

“Our cheddars are made from an old-world recipe that maximizes texture, body, richness and aging capabilities of the cheese to deliver a bold taste experience like no other,” said Meyers.

Old Croc Grand Reserve is now available in a wide variety of cuts, including 10-ounce for retail, 24-ounce for club and a 10-pound loaf for cut and wrap, the company said.
