Stonyfield Organic adds four flavors to kids’ yogurt and snack lines

The new offerings were created with both flavor and nutrition in mind.

Stonyfield Organic introduces new yogurt pouch flavors
    January 24, 2019

Stonyfield Organic, a Londonderry, N.H.-based organic yogurt company, said it is adding four new flavor options to its Whole Milk Pouches and Snack Packs lines. The yogurt products are designed to offer parents nutritious snacking options that don’t sacrifice taste and come in convenient, portable formats. Each yogurt snack includes nutrients such as protein, calcium and vitamin D.

The new flavor additions to the Whole Milk Yogurt Pouch line include Apple Cinnamon Sweet Potato and Blueberry Apple Carrot, which are made with real fruit and vegetables and have 35% less sugar than the leading kids’ yogurt, Stonyfield Organic said. The Yogurt Pouches are single-serve 3.5-ounce pouches designed for on-the-go nutrition.

Vanilla Low-fat Yogurt & Chocolate Cookie and Strawberry Low-fat Yogurt & Chocolate Cookie flavors were also added to Stonyfield’s Snack Packs line. Snack Packs are a duo of organic low-fat yogurt paired with either organic graham crackers, organic cookies or organic pretzels for dipping.

According to Stonyfield Organic, the new product additions are in line with the macro trends seen in the kids’ snacking market, which are predicted to grow steadily as today’s health-minded millennial parents increasingly demand more nutrient-dense snacking options meant to serve as “mini-meals.”

“Providing healthier snacking options for kids has always been a priority for Stonyfield, and we’re excited to share these new flavors and formats with families,” said Natalie Levine, brand director at Stonyfield Organic. “Today’s families need more nutritious, filling snack options to help fuel their on-the-go lifestyles. These new yogurts and snack pack options are the perfect snacking solution that parents can feel good about because they’re filling, convenient and, more importantly, ones their kids will be excited about eating because they taste delicious.”

Stonyfield Kids Whole Milk Pouches market for $5.99 for a four-pack and $1.69 for a single-serve pouch, while the Snack Packs market for $2.29. The products are available at retailers nationwide.
