Blue Isle’s Mediterranean yogurt spreads is the latest innovation from Sun Valley, Calif.-based Karoun Dairies. The company showcased the new product during the Summer Fancy Food Show in New York City.

The spreads are made with yogurt and have no added sugar. Each 2 tablespoon serving contains 60 calories and 6g of fat, which the company said is 40% fewer calories and total fat than the leading cream cheese. It is also all natural and kosher certified.

Blue Isle is available in the following flavors: Original, honey, blueberry, French onion and spicy vegetable.

The dairy spreads are available at Harmon’s, Mollie Stone’s, Central Market, Fiesta Mart, The Fresh Market, New Seasons, H-E-B, Lucky, Fred Meyer, QFC, at natural food stores and better supermarkets nationwide. The suggested retail price is $3.29 for an 8-ounce tub.
