In some sense, the media acts as a secured home for bacteria.

The result is an EFFICIENT and ROBUST system in a COMPACT and FLEXIBLE design. Limited operator attention is required to achieve results that will eliminate BOD surcharges. In many cases, coagulants and flocculants are not necessary to achieve desired results.
