Cornell University's Department of Dairy Science says Crowley Foods Inc., has the best milk in the state of New York. Cornell runs a quantifiable competition of randomly-acquired milk samples each year, and then ranks the products of all participating facilities. Drive-in chain Sonic has begun offering low-fat white and chocolate milk in resealable, 8-oz plastic bottles. The bottle label includes the 3-A-Day of Dairy logo. The Chicago Tribune also reports that Sonic is expanding into Northern and Western markets as well. The chain currently operates more than 3,000 stores, primarily in the South.
