today Dairy Farmers of America (DFA) broke ground on an ingredient processing facility in Cass City, Mich. The $40 million plant will serve a region where milk production is steadily outpacing local plant capacity.

Clover Organic Farms said it received non-GMO verification for eight milk and cream products. The family-owned and -operated dairy processor based in Petaluma, Calif., received the verification for eight of its organic dairy products from the Non-GMO Project.
