Crown Equipment Corp. unveiled the Crown SP 1500 Series order picker. The lift truck introduces innovative design features, such as the industry’s first mid-platform window and industry-leading lift and lower speeds, that make order picking easier and more efficient, the New Bremen, Ohio-based company says.
A compliant, efficient, and optimized plant is more than its component parts. It’s a functioning whole, based on a bigger picture of end-to-end unit operations. The problem is that equipment vendors can’t always see that bigger picture.
Byrne Inc., our 2022 Dairy Plant of the Year, continues to plan for tomorrow, while continuing tremendous success today. Founded in 1933, the dairy, under the direction of CEO Carl Byrne, expanded it opportunities in aseptic. In fact, the upstate New York facility increased its product offerings from one SKU to 20.
The new facility will help the company accelerate expansion and meet growing demand for its dairy and other products nationwide.

Cacique LLC — a privately-owned Hispanic foods company that boasts the No. 1 brand of authentic Mexican-style cheeses, cremas and chorizos in the United States — said it officially broke ground on an $88 million dairy processing facility in Amarillo, Texas.
The small town of Arkansas City, Kan., also known as Ark City, is home to the Cowley County Waterfall, which Yahoo Travel included in its 2014 "Top 12 Most Beautiful Waterfalls in America" list. It is also home to a decidedly less touristy, but arguably equally fascinating, "attraction": a KanPak US dairy processing facility that employs aseptic technologies to create custom shelf-stable liquid-based products for quick-service restaurants, retail and other customers.
