As we move into the New Year, our mission statement continues to include the following: Be accessible and available everywhere to meet the informational needs of dairy professionals. We need to pursue this vision in order to stay relevant and important to you and your business life and goals.
We seem to be on the right track. You continue to consume our content in record numbers. For example, just recently, the total number of users in our social media community has exceeded the total circulation of our printed magazine. Our LinkedIn Group alone includes more than 17,200 members. Webinar registrations and attendees also hit record highs in 2014 along with our other channels, including digital edition and e-newsletter subscriptions, the website (dairyfoods.com) and a new mobile app. But rest assured, the ink-on-paper version of Dairy Foods isn’t going away.
The International Dairy Food Association’s annual Dairy Forum is just a few weeks away, and onsite attendance looks to be at record highs. For the first time ever we are offering live webinars of selected sessions. So even if you are unable to attend in person, I look forward to “seeing” you there!
