Braskem expanded its portfolio of high-density polyethylene resins with the launch of the HD7600 family, which is designed especially to meet the needs of the shrink-film segment, such as secondary packaging for unitizing cans and bottles. The low gel content of the line ensures a compact, tear-resistant package with no surface marks and good clarity for viewing the packaged product. The shrink-film formula includes high-density, low-density and linear low-density polyethylenes (HDPE, LDPE and LLDPE). The combination of properties from each of these resin families ensures at once good stiffness, shrinkability and compactness of the unit.
