The Turcon MF range of polytetrafluoroethylene-based sealing materials has been specifically formulated by Trelleborg Sealing Solutions for food contact, pharmaceutical and medical applications. The range of materials must therefore comply with the EU’s plastics directive 2002/72/EC (former 90/128/EEC).
“Formulations have been re-checked against all amendments,” says Ferdinand Schwabe, European Segment Manager for pharmaceuticals, food and beverage at Trelleborg Sealing Solutions.
Turcon MF materials are available in a wide range of complex seal geometries and bearings. Specialized compounds are suitable for static, dynamic, linear and rotary service in lubricating media, poor lubrication and water hydraulics.
