Charley Beck, vice president of sales - Charley’s knowledge in sales and customer care is only achieved after years of flavor industry experience. His ability to understand your needs and respond quickly will ensure the success of your next project.
Kevin Berdak, flavor chemist - Kevin leads the company’s analytical group and creates sweet and beverage flavors. Kevin has been creating and analyzing flavors for more than 26 years. He became a certified flavor chemist in 1993. His ability to not only understand flavors, but also provide solutions from project conception to packaging finished products, provides customers a total partner resource.
Rick Gibson, flavor chemist - Rick is responsible for creating new and exciting flavors. He has more than 36 years of flavor chemist experience, most recently at Firmenich. His understanding of raw materials and their interactions began at Warner Jenkinson where he began his career. Rick became a certified flavor chemist in 1995. “Rick’s creative talent paired with his ability to listen and understand consumer taste preferences is a tremendous asset to Beck Flavors,” says Robert Sloane, president.
Lisa Taake, business development manager - Lisa has 20 years of flavor experience, working previously at Danisco, Firmenich and Beck. Lisa began her career in flavor creation and expanded her flavor knowledge by working and managing the application and sensory department. Her technical understanding of flavors for beverage and dairy strengthens her understanding of the business. “Lisa’s industry knowledge and passion for flavors is a wonderful addition to our company,” says Beck.
Beck Flavors has two innovation centers - Cincinnati and St. Louis, Mo. Combining these two sites with its 110,000 square feet manufacturing facility in Lancaster, Pa., the company offers:
