The flexible Bag Caser from Westfalia Deam Systems provides fast and smooth case loading for both liquid and powder filled bags. Capable of loading 80 bags per minute in either plastic dairy cases or corrugated cases, this compact caser is available in two models, to handle either four or six bags per case load. The equipment’s all stainless steel construction makes it ideal for the wet conditions of dairy, juice and other beverage facilities.
Westfalia Deam Systems is the result of merging Deam Limited of Toronto, with Westfalia Technologies Inc. of York, Pa., in 2006. It is known throughout the industry for innovative, compact, custom designed case packing and handling equipment for the dairy and beverage industries. With a full team of mechanical, electrical and software engineers in-house, Westfalia designs beverage casing and handling systems to meet each client’s specific needs. The flexible bag caser is the latest of a series of compact casers designed by Westfalia to case all size bottles, jugs, gallons, and creamer cups.
The Bag Caser is available with a touch screen operator HMI able to swivel 300 degrees, PLC controls with Nema 4/4X stainless-steel panel, and can easily be installed over existing conveyors. Among the options available, are extensions to bag and case conveyors, and motor controls for incoming and case conveyors.
As with all Westfalia products, the Bag Caser is guaranteed to perform to the specification. Each piece is thoroughly tested before shipping and installing at a customer’s plant.
