    Dairy Trade Magazines Joining Forces

    November 1, 2007
As a result of BNP Media’s recent acquisition of Stagnito Communications, Dairy Foods and Dairy Field - two publications each with more than a century of covering the dairy industry - are teaming up to deliver a single package covering all areas of the dairy processing industry.

As a result of BNP Media’s recent acquisition of Stagnito Communications, Dairy Foods and Dairy Field - two publications each with more than a century of covering the dairy industry - are teaming up to deliver a single package covering all areas of the dairy processing industry.  The combined expertise, enhanced circulation and increased editorial resources will produce a single publication never before available.

Beginning in January 2008, Dairy Field’s new home is within Dairy Foods as Dairy Field Reports, an exclusive monthly section devoted to processor profiles, dairy plant operations and proven how-to solutions for manufacturing and related issues such as packaging, logistics and safety.

Dairy Foods will now be the only publication covering the entire business of developing, manufacturing, and packaging, distributing and marketing dairy foods in North America.

The inclusion of Dairy Field Reports greatly broadens Dairy Foods current offerings in this area.  Editor Jim Dudlicek’s in-the-field reports deliver a behind-the-scenes look at the industry’s leading companies and the newest and most innovative manufacturing facilities operating today. More expert industry columnists offer their insights and advice on all aspects of operations, making Dairy Field Reports the go-to “field guide” for everyone engaged in dairy manufacturing.

“This alliance improves our market penetration and allows us to reach even further into the plant operations and product development communities,” says Tom Imbordino, publisher of Dairy Foods.

“This is truly an extraordinary opportunity for us to continue delivering more robust and rich content to the industry while simultaneously giving dairy marketers more exposure via increased circulation among the top-100 processors, plant engineering/operation and product development/R&D titles.  We’ll now be able to reach readers within more dairy plants and locations than ever before,” Imbordino says.

Dairy Foods continues to deliver its top-notch coverage of product development, industry trends and market analysis, plus their renowned feature articles covering all aspects of the dairy business, from procurement to consumption. Dairy veteran David Phillips remains Chief Editor, and food scientist and highly sought-after speaker Donna Berry continues as Product Development Editor.

BNP Media, the largest family-owned b-to-b media company in the country, helps people succeed in business with superior information through its portfolio of magazines, Web sites, conferences, trade shows and market research.  BNP specializes in the food, beverage, packaging, manufacturing, gaming, architecture and construction, mechanical systems, and safety and security markets.  BNP owns and operates more than 60 magazines, 40 events and 75 Web sites.
