Fristam Pumps USAFKL series high performance positive displacement pumps from Fristam are now available with stainless steel rotors to handle a wider range of products including dairy. With the introduction of stainless steel rotors, more processes can benefit from the high efficiency and durability of the FKL.
The FKL's tight clearances provide better efficiencies and gentler handling of shear sensitive products than comparable rotary lobe pumps.
The FKL is CIP-able with no performance loss and designed for ease of maintenance. Its oil bath gearbox uses no bearing grease and requires oil change-out only every 4,000 hours. The durable FKL is comprised of 316L stainless steel. Material certifications and electropolishing are readily available.
Fristam Pumps USA, Middleton, WI, is a leading international manufacturer of sanitary centrifugal and positive displacement pumps, blenders and mixers used by the beverage, dairy, food and pharmaceutical/biotech industries.

FKI LogistexA new stainless steel conveyor is available from FKI Logistex, a global leader in integrated material handling solutions. Built in rugged stainless steel and fully rated for product washdown, FKI Logistex Stainless Steel Conveyor is designed to meet the needs of food, beverage, and consumer goods manufacturers. With side frames built in 304 polished stainless steel and all fabricated parts available in stainless steel, the FKI Logistex Stainless Steel Conveyor can be wet-cleaned after production runs. Its corrosion-resistant construction reduces wear and tear and extends conveyor component life over traditional non-stainless designs. FKI Logistex Stainless Steel Conveyor expands on the proven FKI Logistex Accumat® rollerless conveying system. Like Accumat, the stainless steel conveyor uses a modular plastic-belt conveying surface, eliminating the need for rollers and providing a continuous surface for product conveying. The belted surface also decreases the number of moving parts.
General Machinery CorporationA more convenient sanitary conveyor has been introduced by General Machinery Corporation. Without tools, the new conveyor can be fully disassembled, including the belt removal, and readied for complete wash down in less then 5 minutes. A cantilever seamless stainless frame is the centerpiece. Standard equipment includes a totally enclosed electrical system; a stainless steel, T.E. AC motorized pulley, on/off variable speed control unit, E-stop cable pull system, endless FDA conveyor belt, stainless steel in-feed hopper, discharge chute, and casters. The new conveyor is designed for sanitary operation. It is easy to operate, and has very low maintenance. This conveyor can be built to suit a customer's specific requirements.
