Barbara O’Brien, president and CEO of Dairy Management Inc. (DMI) and the Innovation Center for U.S. Dairy, announced she will retire at the end of her five-year term this fall.

John Galyen, president of Danfoss North America in Ames, Iowa, since 2011, announced his retirement from Danfoss later this summer. Rick Sporrer, vice president of sales, America for Danfoss Power Solutions, was named to succeed Galyen, the company said.

Professor Phillip S. Tong is retiring from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, and from the university’s Dairy Products Technology Center this month.
