Dairy Foods seeks nominations for its 2011 Processor of the Year award. Dairy food processors (including milk, milk-based beverages, cheese, cultured dairy, ice cream and frozen desserts) are invited to nominate themselves or other companies.

Harmon "Hymie" Schepps passed away Aug. 24 in Dallas at the age of 93.
He started the Houston-based dairy company named for him, Schepps
Dairy, which has since been renamed to Oak Farms.
