Citing input from event exhibitors, members and the board of directors representing the industry, the International Dairy Deli Bakery Association (IDDBA) announced the decision to cancel this year’s event.

Messe Frankfurt Inc. (MFI) and the McLean, Va.-based Food Processing Suppliers Association (FPSA) announced that they entered into a joint venture to align their resources to create and co-produce Process Expo, the nation’s largest horizontal trade show for the food and beverage processing and packaging industry.

The Food Processing Suppliers Association (FPSA), the McLean, Va.-based owner of the global food equipment and technology show Process Expo, said it reached an agreement with Messe Frankfurt Inc.

Dozens of exhibiting companies participating in next month's Process Expo, hosted by the Food Processing Suppliers Association, submitted new products to be considered for the Innovation Showcase People's Choice Awards.

The Food Processing Suppliers Association (FPSA), the producer of Process Expo, said it teamed up with the Food Safety Summit, a BNP Media conference focused on food safety, to offer six education courses during this year’s Process Expo.

The trade show will take place Oct. 8-11 in Chicago.

The trade show will offer food safety education sessions and certification courses, as well as focused food safety networking.

The Dairy Council Board of Directors of the Food Processing Suppliers Association has pledged its support to the 2017 Defeat Hunger campaign. BNP Media, the publisher of Dairy Foods, is donating $2,500, which will help provide approximately 7,500 meals.
