Multi-serving nutrition drink mixes have historically been sold in cans and jars. Recently, Jupiter, Fla.-based Healthient Inc., rolled out SnackHealthy Smart Shake milk shake mixes in zipper stand-up pouches. Each package contains enough mix to make 30 servings of a beverage that delivers 5 grams of fiber and 13 grams of whey protein when blended with water. SmartShake was designed to help satisfy cravings, give the body a feeling of fullness and promote muscle growth. “Many consumers sacrifice taste when seeking products delivering protein. I am extremely proud of the fact that we’ve developed a delicious, high-quality, whey protein shake that also delivers the fiber so many Americans are lacking in their diets,” says Katherine West, CEO.
