DALLAS-Dean Foods is thought to be working on acquiring Foremost Dairies of Hawaii which closed operations last month.

According to an Associated Press article, Dean, which owns Hawaii's other dairy processor, Meadow Gold, is likely to have made a bid for Foremost's plant, business and equipment.
