Tarpon Springs, FL-- A-B-C has released a new brochure on the company’s Model 340 case erector, a workhorse machine that is built to manage the special requirements of oversized corrugated cases. The Model 340 erects and bottom seals large kd blanks in both RSC and HSC styles with dimensions up to 45” long by 42” wide at speeds to 30 cases per minute. The Model 340 is offered in both tape and adhesive-sealing models.

Designed on the same production platform as A-B-C’s industry standard Model 330 case erector, this machine has an ergonomic, low-level case magazine for easy loading, plus a case feed that has unique features to accommodate warped or band-marked cases. The mechanical, walking beam case transfer acts to square the cases as they travel through erecting and sealing. The adhesive sealing model utilizes a servo-powered sealing ram to ensure complete compression for a secure seal on every case.

A-B-C’s Intelligent Control electronics package puts total control at the line attendant’s fingertips, with simple, color-coded commands for setup and operation. All operating data is captured for production reports, analysis, and trending, and complete production history is available to pinpoint operational or maintenance issues.

A-B-C manufactures a complete line of packaging machinery including case erectors, sealers, packers, decasers, bulk depalletizers, and palletizers.
