Siemens Industry Inc. has announced that Walt Staehle has been named head of vertical marketing management for the North American food and beverage market.

Siemens Industry Inc. has announced that Walt Staehle has been named head of vertical marketing management for the North American food and beverage market.

In his new role, Staehle will lead customer relationship management for the Food & Beverage and Consumer Products Group Industries, as well as the corporate account managers, marketing, industry specialists and application engineers for the North American F&B and CPG markets. Staehle and his team will also continue to partner with customers and industry associations to anticipate trends and accelerate profitable technology development.

Prior to joining Siemens in 2005, Staehle spent 24 years as an executive with Kraft Foods, the largest food company in North America, most recently as director of MES and shop floor systems. His operations experience also includes having led production organizations at four plant locations and senior operations staffs at two headquarters locations.

Staehle holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Muhlenberg College and a master’s degree in business management from Central Michigan University. He also completed post-graduate work in operations management, manufacturing strategy for competitive advantage and integrated supply chain management at Stanford University.
