Rutter's, York, Pa.-Krista Jenkins named v.p. of human resources. Jenkins has more than 10 years of human resources experience and most recently served as director of human resources for Lancaster Pa.-based Breuners Home Furnishing Corp.

Randolph Associates, Inc., Birmingham, Ala.-Dennie Sandefer joins as a food safety & quality assurance consultant. Sandefer has more than 20 years experience in the food industry. She will manage Randolph's Laboratory and Q-PIP Programs and assist clients in food safety audits, HACCP verifications, and technical training. Also, Jerry Lapp joins as a quality assurance consultant. He has more than 35 years experience in cultured products manufacturing. Jerry will assist clients with cultured products procedures and training and product quality troubleshooting.

Alcoa Flexible Packaging, Richmond, Va.-Pedro Escudero joins Alcoa Embalaje Flexible in Rubi, Spain, as plant mgr. He most recently served as plant mgr. for Bic Graphic Europe, S.A. a customized lighters and stationary products producer, in Tarragona, Spain. Also, Carol Rod has been named plant mgr. for the company's Bellwood Printing plant located in Richmond, Va. She joined Bellwood Printing in 1987 as a color computer analyst. David P. Dumbleton joins as technical director, responsible for leading the technical developing of new packaging solutions. He will be based in Richmond, Va. He joined Alcoa as technical director in its Alcoa Flexible Packaging business in October 2004. He has more than 30 years experience working in the packaging industry. His most recent position was with Wausaau-Mosinee Paper Company, located in Rhinelander, Wis.

David Michael & Co., Philadelphia-Denis Blais promoted to senior account mgr. He is responsible for sales in the Eastern portion of Canada. Jennifer Jacobs has been promoted to senior account mgr. She is responsible for sales in Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Nebraska, Mississippi and Kansas.

SPI Polyols, Inc., New Castle, Del.-Clement Opawumi joins as a senior food scientist in the Applications Research/Technical Services laboratory. Clement has more than10 years experience in ingredient technology, primarily starches and gums. Most recently he has been involved with applications research in stabilizer systems for milk-based beverages and frozen desserts.
