Crowley Foods, Binghamton, N.Y., plans to spend $2.7 million to expand its Bristol, Va., cultured products plant.
The expansion is expected to add 32 jobs, and will help facilitate the integration of Crowley's operations with those of Massachusetts-based HP Hood, which purchased Crowley and its sister company Kemps earlier this year from National Dairy Holdings, Dallas.
According to local news reports, an additional $100,000 will be contributed to the project through government incentives.
