Lactalis Iberia S.A., a Spanish dairy products firm, has been given clearance by the European Commission to buy two other Spanish dairy companies, Grupo el Prado Cervera S.L. (GPC), and Central Lechera Vallisoletana (CLV).
Lactalis is a subsidiary of Belgian holding company BSA, while GPC and CLV are controlled by French company Alliance Agroalimentaire.
